Taylor Swift's High School

Taylor Swift attended Hendersonville High School for her freshman and sophomore years.  Swift's high school experience inspired hit songs and videos such as You Belong to Me and 15 from her Fearless album.  Swift met her best friend, Abigail Anderson in the 9th grade.

In order to accommodate her touring schedule, Swift transferred to Aaron Academy, which offered homeschooling.  Swift earned her high school diploma in 2008.

Swift donated $75,000 to Hendersonville High School for the lighting and sound equipment in the auditorium.  The Sumner County School Board unanimously voted to name the auditorium after Swift.
